In this Episode Kelly and Lalita dive back into Health IT Policy and discuss how the offshoot of the 21st Century Cures Act, TEFCA, deals with a problem that we've seen before: interoperability. The Gauge Wars of the 19th Century were conflicts over who sets the standard on the width of railroads. Health IT is currently going through a similar change and standardization. Is TEFCA the solution? And are the updates in implementation (going into effect January 26, 2025) worth it?
